last night, we are in the car, and we change the channel to krock, because sometimes it's nearly good. this is not one of those times. it's a shitty nu-metal song, with crappy monotone crappyness, and a refrain of "i push my finger into my eye". so, uh, we mock. and then the dj comes on. apparently, that was number one of the "furious five at nine", which means that this song, Slipknot's "Duality", was the most requested song yesterday.

i have to kill america.

The KROQ clone out here has been playing the White Stripe's version of Black Jack Davy. It's awesome and makes me think maybe radio's getting good again. But then I realize it's probably just a fluke.
